FUTURE-ART Holds First PMO Meeting to Align Work on Human Trafficking Awareness

The FUTURE-ART consortium held its first Project Management Office (PMO) meeting to coordinate the next steps of the project and to make sure all partners are aligned on priorities and deadlines. After a short delay due to technical and internet issues, the meeting officially started with a warm welcome to all partners.

The first point was to confirm that partners had received the first grant payment and that the amounts matched the planned budget. This financial clarity will allow all organisations to continue their work on time and as planned. The coordinator then presented the updated KPIs and the guidelines for Task 2.1, which focus on national overviews of human trafficking, methodology, timelines, and expected deliverables. Partners welcomed the clear structure and agreed to send their feedback on the VP2 guidelines as soon as possible.

The communication strategy was also reviewed. Partners were reminded to use the official FUTURE-ART visual identity, including logos, fonts, colours, and PowerPoint templates, when publishing project news and social media posts. It was noted that most partners have already shared content about the kick-off meeting, and work on the website and social media channels has started.

A key discussion point was the upcoming content meeting in Istanbul. Partners agreed that an info pack and a detailed agenda should be shared by mid-December to allow enough time for travel planning and hotel bookings close to the meeting venue. To support better coordination, partners also requested a shared online space where they can upload and access photos, videos, and communication materials.

The meeting closed with an agreement to prepare minutes for those who could not attend and to confirm the date of the next PMO meeting. The next online PMO meeting is planned for 6 January 2023. The consortium left the meeting with a clear roadmap and a shared commitment to using art, theatre, and media to raise awareness on human trafficking.
